In light of the recent protests, join us for a workshop on race relations with Regina Wallace Jones, Mayor of East Palo Alto. Regina has worked hard to build affordable housing. Additionally, Regina prioritizes creating economic opportunity for its residents.
Beyond her work in public service, Regina works in the technology sector. Currently, she is Senior VP of Product Services at MindBody. She has previously worked as a tech executive at Yahoo, eBay and Facebook. She is the founding board president of StreetCode Academy, a patron of Black Girls Code, a board member for Women Who Code, and a partner of the Lean In Foundation which advocates for women pursuing their professional ambitions.
Regina holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Masters from UCLA in Public Policy with Emphasis in Technology Policy.
Regina will share her perspective on racism and inequality in the US and discuss the work she has done to counter it.
