Join us for a workshop with Amy Heneghan, an Emergency Pediatrician. Dr. Heneghan works at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, specializing in preventative medicine and adolescent health. She has been in practice for over 20 years.
She received her medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and did her residency at John Hopkins University. She was a professor at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Her research interests include adolescent mental health and community efforts to prevent teen depression and suicide.
Dr. Heneghan will share about her career as a doctor, her day-to-day life work as an Emergency Pediatrician, and the role of confidence in her success. She will lead a medicine-related activity, teaching girls about the various aspects of being a doctor.
